ABOUT NICOLE
Since 2001, Nicole has been representing labor unions, employees, benefits funds, corporations, and non-profit organizations in various industries including public sector, entertainment, health care, education, transportation, construction, and communications. Her prior experience includes working at Spivak Lipton LLP and Hughes Hubbard & Reed.
She has represented clients in federal and New York State courts, administrative proceedings, and arbitration hearings. Nicole is admitted to practice in New York.
Nicole is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section. She is active in the Section’s Development of the Law Under the NLRA Committee and is an Associate Editor and Chapter Editor of The Developing Labor Law.
Nicole received her law degree from Columbia Law School and her undergraduate degree, with honors, in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.

Nicole has much experience negotiating and drafting collective bargaining agreements, advising on contract administration, and representing union and management clients during all phases of the grievance process, including arbitration. She has represented clients before federal, state, and local administrative agencies.

Nicole assists individuals and families with their estate planning needs, including wills, powers of attorney, and living will and healthcare proxies.
INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY INVESTIGATIONS
Nicole acts as a neutral third-party and investigates complaints of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other improper conduct. She makes objective written findings and recommendations.
BENEFIT FUNDS
Nicole has experience counseling trustees and administrators of public sector and multi-employer benefit funds on plan design, administration, and compliance.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS
Nicole advises clients on best employment practices, employment contracts, severance agreements, employee handbooks, and policies. She represents clients before state, local, and federal administrative agencies.
NON-PROFIT AND SMALL BUSINESS ADVISING
Nicole assists non-profit organizations and small businesses with various contractual, compliance, and other general matters.
